Beaconsfield Yacht Club members enjoy the use of an historic fieldstone clubhouse with covered terrace. Food and beverage service is available throughout the summer and part time during winter. The club has a boat marina, with stone breakwater, sheerleg, pump-out services and a gas dock.

Race Committee Officer (RCO)

The Beaconsfield Yacht Club (BYC) is looking to hire a Race Committee Officer (RCO) to lead and manage the Club and Inter-Club racing events. This is a paid position at BYC. We are looking for someone with some previous race management experience.

BYC is responsible to manage 50% of the inter-club (“Good Neighbour Series”) lac st Louis race schedule as well as our own Club “Trophy Races” events.

The successful candidate will need to commit to a minimum of two racing seasons. Races are typically run on Thursday evenings (Good Neighbour Series), Saturdays or Sundays for Trophy Race and regatta event.

Salary will be hourly and commensurate to applicable experience and certifications. The club will be also committed to supporting your professional growth for this role and will provide financial support as required.
