  • EVENING SAILING  – Wednesday & Thursday – Starting June 5th (3 sessions)

DESCRIPTION AND SCHEDULES:
Embark on a thrilling sailing adventure with our CANSAIL 1&2 certified course, set against the picturesque lac saint louis. Learn the ropes aboard our 24-foot Shark sailboat, guided by an experienced instructor.

Designed to teach the safe and proper handling of a sailboat, this approximately 18-hour course teaches theory and the technique of sailing, drawn from the Canadian Yachting Association program. Practical experience on the water will be given as often as weather permits. At the conclusion of the course, you should be able to enjoy the pleasure of sailing and may have been introduced to boat racing.

This learn to sail course is runs on Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9pm with a maximum of 2 participants per course, you’ll enjoy personalized attention and hands-on learning.   • Session 1: June 5-June 20th

FEES AND ACCEPTANCE PROCEDURES

Fees: Two or more people: 650$+tx

CLOTHING AND SAFETY GEAR:
Squadron students must wear soft soled shoes and bring their own life jacket or personal flotation device (PFD) of a type approved by the Department of Transport (DOT) or the Ministry of Transport (MOT). Water ski jackets, safety belts and/or air-cell jackets are not permitted. Students will not be allowed on the water if the life jacket does not meet the approval of the club manager.
